Getting Started
How does PriceOptimize work?
PriceOptimize integrates with your Stripe or Shopify store to run A/B tests on your pricing. We automatically split traffic between price variants and use AI to analyze results and recommend the optimal price. Simply connect your payment provider, set up an experiment, and our platform handles the rest.
How long does it take to see results?
Most merchants see statistically significant results within 14 days. Our AI provides preliminary insights as early as 72 hours into the experiment. The exact timeline depends on your traffic volume and conversion rates.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card required to start. You can run experiments, access AI insights, and see real results before committing.
Do I need technical knowledge to use PriceOptimize?
No technical knowledge required. Our platform is designed for founders and marketing teams. Connect your store with a few clicks, and our guided setup will walk you through creating your first experiment in minutes.
Integrations
Does PriceOptimize work with Shopify?
Yes, PriceOptimize has native Shopify integration. Install our app from the Shopify App Store and start testing prices in minutes. We support product pricing, variant pricing, and even shipping experiments.
How does Stripe integration work?
Connect your Stripe account with one click. PriceOptimize will automatically track conversions and revenue. We use Stripe's checkout session metadata to attribute purchases to the correct experiment variant.
Can I use PriceOptimize with custom checkout?
Yes! We provide a JavaScript SDK that works with any checkout. Add a few lines of code to your pricing page and checkout flow, and you're ready to run experiments.
Experiments & Analytics
How does A/B testing for prices work?
We randomly assign visitors to different price variants using a consistent hashing algorithm. This ensures each user always sees the same price, preventing confusion. Our statistical engine then calculates which price performs better based on conversion rates and revenue.
What is statistical significance and why does it matter?
Statistical significance tells you how confident we are that the observed difference in performance is real, not due to random chance. We recommend waiting for at least 95% confidence before making permanent pricing changes.
Can I test more than two prices at once?
Yes! Our platform supports multi-variant testing. You can test up to 4 different price points in a single experiment. The AI will help you identify the optimal price from all variants.
How does the AI provide recommendations?
Our AI analyzes your experiment data, customer segments, industry benchmarks, and pricing psychology principles to provide actionable recommendations. It considers factors like price elasticity, LTV projections, and competitive positioning.
Pricing & Billing
How much does PriceOptimize cost?
PriceOptimize offers transparent pricing starting at $19/month for cloud-hosted plans. We also offer a revenue share model for businesses that prefer pay-for-performance. Visit our pricing page for detailed information.
Is there a limit on experiments?
Paid plans include unlimited experiments. You can test as many products and price points as you want. Free trials are limited to 3 active experiments.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We don't believe in lock-in contracts.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. We're SOC 2 compliant and undergo regular security audits.
Do you share my data with third parties?
Never. Your business data is yours. We don't sell, share, or monetize your data. We only use it to power your experiments and provide insights.
Can customers tell they're in an experiment?
No. Price tests are seamless and invisible to customers. Each visitor consistently sees the same price throughout their session and across visits, so there's no confusion.
